The Government of Ukraine made a decision on May 2 to prohibit entry into Ukraine of foreigners and stateless persons who arrived from India or were in its territory for at least seven days during the last 14 days. This was stated at the briefing by the Chief Medical Officer of Ukraine Viktor Lyashko.
When returning to Ukraine from this country, all citizens, including Ukrainians, are subject to self-isolation regardless of the results of the PCR test.
"Citizens of Ukraine, foreigners and stateless persons who permanently or temporarily live on the territory of Ukraine, spouses or children of citizens of Ukraine who cross the state border to enter Ukraine and return from India are subject to mandatory self-isolation regardless of the presence and results of PCR tests" , - said Lyashko.
He noted that India is currently the leader in the number of new cases of COVID-19, and in the last few days, almost 400 cases of coronavirus have been registered there per day.
