The Prime Minister of Ukraine, Denys Shmyhal, during an online meeting with city mayors about the introduction of a "weekend quarantine" in the country, said that today the government has up to seven tools that will support the industries that suffer the most from the lockdown.
This was reported by the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers.
"Today, we have a number of tools that showed themselves in the spring. We are also working on the development of new programs. We currently have up to seven instruments with which we will already this week support the industries that suffer the most," the head of government emphasized.
He did not specify what these "tools" are. moreover, it is not clear what initiatives of the Cabinet of Ministers "showed themselves" in the spring - during the total quarantine, business was left almost alone with its problems.
The Prime Minister also noted that the government is simultaneously working on increasing the number of beds and oxygen supply to give doctors more tools to treat patients.
According to him, any anti-epidemic measures do not give an instant result, and the effect of the "weekend quarantine" can be seen in 2-3 weeks
