In Ukraine, during the Easter holidays, police and National Guard patrols monitor the order on the roads and in recreational areas, both on foot and in vehicles. This was reported by the Deputy Head of the National Police of Ukraine, Oleksandr Facevych.
Since May 2, law enforcement officers are stepping up patrolling of roads and recreation areas of citizens, as many people will go to recreation areas and forest park zones, despite the fact that strict quarantine restrictions are in place in some regions.
"I focus the work of patrol units, response groups of the patrol police on strict control of compliance with traffic rules, especially when driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs. It is also necessary to increase the presence of policemen in recreation areas and reservoirs, in resort areas and on sea coasts in the southern regions," said Facevych.
