Airline from Saudi Arabia Flynas will start regular air service with Ukraine. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Infrastructure following a meeting between Minister Alexander Kubrakov and Chief Executive Officer of Flynas Almohanna Bandera.
"Each new flight is, first of all, new opportunities for the development of business, tourism and integration of Ukraine into world markets. That is why the increase in regular direct airmail is one of the ministry's priorities. We want Ukraine to become a major international air hub, and such steps bring us closer to this goal," Kubrakov said.
Flynas is the leading low-cost airline in Saudi Arabia, with a fleet of 30 aircraft. The airline operates more than 1200 weekly flights to 35 domestic and international destinations. Every hour for the past five years, Flynas has been recognized as the best low-cost airline in the Middle East. Recently, the air carrier concluded an agreement with Airbus on the purchase of 120 new aircraft at a total cost of 8,6 billion dollars.
Previously, Ukraine did not have regular direct air traffic with Saudi Arabia. A transfer via Istanbul, Doha or Dubai was required for the flight.
