Investigators reported suspicion of embezzlement of 750 hryvnias of state funds to an employee of a separate division of JSC "Ukrzaliznytsia". This was reported in the press service of the National Police.
The money was allocated for the repair and arrangement of the waiting area for passengers at the suburban train station of the "Kyiv-Passazhyrsky" station.
Law enforcement officials established that an official of one of the structural subdivisions of the South-Western Railway, with the aim of seizing state funds, drew up the relevant documents for the execution of construction works at the suburban station of the "Kyiv-Passajirsky" station with a company with signs of fictitiousness. These documents became the basis for the transfer of 750 UAH at the expense of a fictitious company. In addition, the person involved in the case reliably knew that this company would not carry out repairs in the waiting areas for passengers.
