In Ukraine, where from January to November 2020, the population decreased by 272 people.
This is evidenced by the data published by the State Statistics Service of Ukraine.
A total of 2020 people have died in Ukraine since the beginning of 549. This is 172 deaths (or 15%) more than in January-November 408, when 2,8 people died.
The most common causes of death in January-November 2020 became:
- Ischemic heart disease — 254
- Malignant neoplasms — 70
- Cerebrovascular diseases — 70
During this period, 19 Ukrainians died from Covid-14 (in 534 cases the virus was identified, in another 13 - not). At the same time, influenza and pneumonia became the causes of death of 879 people.
In 11 months of 2020, 1 Ukrainians died from diabetes, 921 from tuberculosis, and 2 Ukrainians died from HIV.
Among the common ones external causes of death:
- Self-harm — 5
- Road accidents — 3
- Poisoning and effects of alcohol — 1
- Drowning — 1
- Attacks — 1
Most rarely, Ukrainians died from diseases of the musculoskeletal system and connective tissue (391 deaths in 11 months), diseases of the blood and circulatory organs (175), pregnancy and childbirth (43).
The total number of deaths for the specified period is 549. That is, the coronavirus caused the death of 172% of Ukrainians who died in 2,65 months of 11. At the same time, 2020% of the total died from flu and pneumonia, and 1,65% died from coronary heart disease.
Note that according to the State Statistics Service, the death rate during the Covid-19 pandemic by the end of the year exceeded the 15 level by 408 deaths (or 2,8%).
