The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine intends to extend the quarantine restrictions in the country

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine intends to extend the quarantine restrictions in the country until the end of 2020. This was announced at today's government meeting.

According to Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal, adaptive quarantine is the most effective mechanism for preventing the spread of the coronavirus.

In addition, the Cabinet of Ministers decided to start the school holidays from October 15. Students will have a vacation until October 30, after which, most likely, they will study remotely. Also, distance learning is recommended to be transferred by higher education institutions: from October 15 to November 15.

In addition, the government tightened quarantine restrictions. Now a maximum of 50 people are allowed to participate in mass events in the "green" zone. No more than 30 in the "yellow" and no more than 20 in the "orange".

As for the work of cafes and restaurants, regardless of the quarantine zone, they will be able to work only until 22:00.
