PrivatBank case: the English court ordered Kolomoiskyi and Bogolyubov to pay 1 million pounds sterling

"According to the results of the hearing, which took place on February 1, 2021, the senior judge who determines the amount of expenses, Mr. Gordon-Saker, granted PrivatBank's request for an additional payment to reimburse the bank's expenses and ordered Mr. Kolomoiskyi and Mr. Bogolyubov, together with other defendant companies, will make an additional payment of 1 million pounds sterling in favor of the bank by March 15, 2021," PrivatBank said in a statement.

Thus, the total amount of the bank's funds paid by the defendants, together with interest, amounts to more than 12 million pounds sterling (consisting of interim payments in the amount of 4,4 million pounds sterling at the expense of PrivatBank's legal expenses incurred in the court of first instance and appellate instance, and the return of 7,5 million pounds sterling paid by the bank to the defendants in December 2018). The defendants were also ordered to pay the bank's expenses in the amount of about 35 thousand. pounds sterling incurred in connection with the filing of such a petition.
