The Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada, Dmytro Razumkov, abstained from voting for the National Security Council's decision on sanctions against People's Deputy of Ukraine Taras Kozak (Opposition platform - Za zhizn faction), as well as eight companies - the founders of the TV channels "112 Ukraine", ZIK and NewsOne.
"I refrained. Sanctions are good where we cannot punish according to Ukrainian legislation. And here everything is out of place. And sanctions against channels are bad. Despite the fact that they belong to" — said Razumkov in the commentary of the Internet publication "Babel".
As reported President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky signed a decree imposing sanctions against MP Taras Kozak, as well as eight companies that are the founders of TV channels 112, ZIK and NewsOne.
