Starting from May 17, 2021, Ukrainians will be able to change their place of residence registration online, through the Diya portal.
This was reported by the Minister of Digital Transformation, Mikhail Fedorov, during a live broadcast.
"There is a lot of opinion in our country, and someone - I will not say how I evaluate this person - made an amendment to the law that each territorial community creates its own registers, where data about registration are recorded. These registers do not interact with each other. And we had to solve this issue and establish cooperation. We will launch registration online on May 17 at the Diya Summit - and after that it will be possible to change the place of registration online," he noted.
The Minister also added that it will be possible to register online both in your own and in rented premises.
"If I want to register with another person, then this person receives a notification that someone wants to register with him. You can enter the address - and the owner of the apartment will simply confirm it with an electronic signature on the "Diya" portal, the minister said.
"We will also launch the electronic signature from May 17. I think we will see an interesting picture - how and where people actually live in Ukraine," he added.
