More than 65% of Ukrainians believe that events in the country are developing in the wrong direction. This is evidenced by the data of research conducted by the sociological service of the Razumkov Center.
Thus, 17,5% of respondents believe that events in Ukraine are developing in the right direction, 65,5% believe that events are developing in the wrong direction (the rest of the respondents had trouble answering). 19,5% of Ukrainians believe that Ukraine is capable of overcoming existing problems and difficulties within the next few years. 50% believe that Ukraine will be able to overcome problems in the longer term, and 20% believe that Ukraine is unable to overcome existing problems (the rest are undecided).
At the same time, if elections to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine were to be held in the near future, the Political Party "Servant of the People" would receive relatively greater voter support (19% of all respondents or 28% of those who will participate in the elections are ready to vote for it and decided which party to vote for). As for the other political forces, 13% and 21% are ready to vote for the European Solidarity party, respectively 12% and 16,5% for the Opposition Platform — Za zhizn party, and 6% for the "Batkivshchyna" party, respectively and 8%, the "Strength and Honor" party — 3% and 5%, respectively. The remaining parties, according to the results of the study, do not overcome the passage barrier.
The research was conducted by the sociological service of the Razumkov Center from October 30 to November 5, 2020, using the face-to-face interview method at the respondents' place of residence. 2020 respondents over the age of 18 were surveyed in all regions of Ukraine, with the exception of Crimea and the occupied territories of Donetsk and Luhansk regions, based on a sample representing the adult population according to basic socio-demographic indicators. The theoretical sampling error (without taking into account the design effect) does not exceed 2,3% with a probability of 0,95.
