President Volodymyr Zelenskyi met with the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Poland, Radoslav Sikorsky, who arrived today, December 22, on a visit to Ukraine. It is reported press service Office of the President.
During the meeting, the president noted the importance of the first visit of the newly appointed head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Poland to Ukraine. In particular, he thanked Warsaw for supporting our country in countering a full-scale Russian invasion, as well as providing shelter to refugees.

The parties agreed that bilateral relations should receive a new impetus, and all problematic issues should be resolved in the spirit of trust and respect;
"We hope to open a new page in our relations. We are very strong neighbors with a common history. We are glad to see you here. I hope that the Prime Minister of Poland will also find an opportunity to come to Ukraine at the nearest opportunity," — the president said.
According to the report, the politicians raised the issue of further cooperation in the defense sphere, as well as the key needs of our soldiers and discussed the creation of joint production facilities and the possibility of purchasing Polish weapons that have shown results on the battlefield.
They also discussed the preparation of the next meeting at the level of advisers to the leaders of the countries regarding the implementation of the Peace Formula, as well as the holding of the Global Peace Summit.
