He joined the G7 ambassadors who arrived in our city today for additional monitoring of the start of the grain corridor.
"We are ready to export Ukrainian grain. We are waiting for signals from our partners about the start of transportation. It is important for us to remain the guarantor of global food security. As long as someone, blocking the Black Sea, takes the lives of other states, we give them the opportunity to survive," the President said.
We will remind that the ambassador of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, Melinda Simmons, emphasized the importance of the agreement mediated by the UN, which allows the export of food from Ukraine.
"My fellow G7 ambassadors and I are in Odesa with Turkey to re-emphasize the importance of the UN-brokered agreement allowing food exports from Ukraine," Simmons wrote earlier.
