In Ukraine, cases of replenishment of terminals with 500 hryvnia bills taken out of circulation in the Oschadbank warehouse in temporarily occupied Kherson are appearing en masse.
Privatbank's terminals stopped accepting payments in bills of more than UAH 200. They say that temporarily, in connection with technical works.
"Atypical top-ups of new iBox customers with large bills may be delayed until the terminal is collected," said monobank co-founder Oleg Horohovskyi.
According to him, such bills have already been registered in Odessa, Kyiv and the west of the country. He also noted that it is impossible to check whether the bills are valid without an inspection in the terminal.
