Mykhailo Podolyak, adviser to the head of the President's Office, said on the air of an information telethon that Russia will try to increase the number of shelling on Independence Day on August 23-24.
"Russia is an archaic state, and it ties its actions to certain dates. For them, these are some obsessive thoughts. What should be done to make people feel bad. They hate us, so they will try to increase the number of cruise missile attacks on a number of our cities on August 23-24. Certainly, Kyiv will be on the list of these cities," said Podolyak.
Podolyak added:
"You just have to be careful with your life. And if the siren sounds, then you need to use this time to find a place to sit out this Russian attempt to strike peaceful cities."
