The Center for countering disinformation at the National Security Council announced the introduction of new public warning signals in Ukraine. This is stated in the statement of the department's press service on Facebook.
"Due to the aggravation of Russia's nuclear blackmail, some territorial communities have introduced several alarm signals that report various types of danger," the NSDC specified.
- The evacuation signal from the city sounds like a train horn. The agency noted that after such a notification, one should turn on local radio or television and wait for further information.
- During a chemical hazard, the sound of church bells will be heard.
- Due to radiation danger, local residents will hear alarm bells.
The Center for Countering Disinformation also reminded that in the event of an air alert, a long, continuous siren signal is sounded for at least 30 seconds.
