ChatGPT crossed the threshold of 2 million users in two months, artificial intelligence has become a real threat to representatives of many specialties, which it can push out of the market. However, while AI is being tested and studied, employers are increasingly looking for employees who can work with ChatGPT.
Let's consider what vacancies with ChatGPT skills are available on the Ukrainian and foreign labor market, and for which professions the use of AI is most relevant.
First of all, companies seek to hire people who can help integrate new technologies into routine tasks, thereby automating some work processes.
According to LinkedIn, the number of posts mentioning GPT or other AI tools that create written content on command increased by 51% from 2021 to 2022.
The employment website Indeed reports that from February 2020 to February 2022, mentions of the "language model", which involves AI, in job advertisements increased by 140%. The Ukrainian job search service Work.ua provided information that domestic employers began to indicate knowledge of ChatGPT in their advertisements. There are 16 jobs posted on the platform where ChatGPT proficiency was required.
Also, the requirement for skills to work with artificial intelligence is found in Ukrainian specialized Telegram channels and on sites that are looking for copywriters and other specialists who work directly with content.
According to ZipRecruiter Chief Economist Julia Pollack, only half of the jobs that mention ChatGPT are for AI-related engineers and developers, while the other half are aimed at marketing or content creation.
Jobs with ChatGPT skills
In Ukraine, employers indicate knowledge of ChatGPT in such job categories as "Marketing, advertising, PR", "IT, computers, Internet", "Media, publishing, printing", "Sales, purchasing", "Personnel management, HR" .
ChatGPT is most often mentioned in copywriting jobs, where it is required along with the ability to use Google and Grammarly to check facts, regular expressions and phrases. In such cases, it is usually about finding an experienced copywriter who is offered a salary of about $800.
Knowledge of ChatGPT will also be an advantage for those applying for the positions of Project manager, Community Manager and Director of Marketing.
There is also a demand for SEO specialists who can optimize content from ChatGPT and Strong Middle Python developers for back-end integration with ChatGPT and similar services.
