Today in Bilyaivska OTG of Odesa district, at an extraordinary session of the council, the deputies supported the initiative of the head of the "Batkivshchyna" faction Serhii Bilyuk and renamed the street "Moskovska" to "Kharkivska".
In addition, the deputy noted that he proposed to his colleagues the new name of the street - "Warshavska" as a sign of respect and gratitude to neighboring Poland for the help and support to our forced migrants. However, the deputies did not support this proposal and voted for the name "Kharkivska", which was also proposed by Serhii Bilyuk.
"Finally, "Moskovskaya Street" is no longer in Bilyaivka, although history will remind us of such a shameful policy for a long time. It took eight years for the government to think and only 10 days to correct the old mistakes of the old government under strong pressure from the patriots. I am glad that it was our team, together with the public, who managed to push this issue and stop the arbitrariness. Glory to Ukraine!" Serhii Bilyuk added.
