The instigators of mass riots were detained in Armenia

Armenian authorities are trying to deal with the mass riots that broke out after the signing of the peace agreement

In Armenia, the authorities are trying to cope with the mass riots that broke out after signing of the Nagorno-Karabakh peace agreement between Moscow, Yerevan and Baku.

In particular, the chief of staff of the Armenian government, Eduard Aghajanyan, reported on social networks about the detention of six people who actively called for the seizure of power and the overthrow of Pashinyan's cabinet. 

Also, according to him, two of these detainees actively participated in the attack on the speaker of the parliament, Ararat Mirzoyan.

"On the occasion of mass riots, threats to the government, violation of the constitutional order, 6 citizens were arrested on suspicion of committing a crime under Art. 301, part 1 of the Criminal Code. Two of the active participants in the attack on Ararat Mirzoyan are on the list of these detained people. All criminals will be punished according to the law," said Eduard Aghajanyan.
