The Turkish authorities declare that the grain agreement with Ukraine will be extended

The grain agreement, thanks to which Ukraine exports products through a safe corridor in the Black Sea, will be extended.

As he writes Bloomberg citing Turkish officials, Russia allegedly stopped blocking the agreement and agreed.

"The agreement, which allows Ukraine to export food from key ports across the Black Sea, is planned to be extended," the newspaper writes.

The deal, brokered by Turkey and the United Nations, will keep a major trade route open amid Russia's war in Ukraine, increasing global food supplies. Moscow has threatened to withdraw from the agreement if obstacles to the supply of its own crops and fertilizers are not removed.

An announcement is expected Wednesday, said the officials, who declined to be named because the information is confidential.
