US authorities have banned American graphics processor maker Nvidia Corp from exporting its cutting-edge artificial intelligence chips to China and Russia.
"The US government has indicated that the new licensing requirement will be aimed at eliminating the risk that products covered by the license could be used or diverted for 'military end use' in China and Russia," Nvidia said in a statement.
