On October 25, the operator "Ukrenergo" again applied restrictions on the supply of electricity, so your lights may turn off.
This became known from the announcement of NEC "Ukrenergo" on the official page Facebook.
In order to stabilize the operation of the energy system, the Dispatch Center of NEC "Ukrenergo" forcibly applied restriction schedules for industrial and other categories of consumers in all regions of Ukraine.
"Forced restrictions on electricity consumers is a fully controlled measure that allows to reduce the load on the power grid and makes it possible to balance the operation of the power system," the message says.
"Ukrenergo" urges consumers to consciously use electricity, and more precisely, to turn off powerful electrical appliances during the peak hours from 6 to 11 am and from 17 to 23 pm.
"We ask consumers to consciously and sparingly approach electricity consumption, not to connect two or more powerful electrical appliances to the network at the same time, and also, if possible, to transfer the use of some of them to the night period (washing machines, boilers, heaters, etc.)," Ukrenergo.
