Celebrations on the occasion of the 55th anniversary of the public organization "Odesa Regional Peace Council" took place in Odessa.
The head of the Odesa Regional Peace Council, Tamila Afanasyeva, received an award from Odesa Mayor Gennadiy Trukhanov that day.
Vitaly Barvinenko, the head of the Odesa District Council, addressed the public activists - members of the jubilee organization, the head of the Council and all those present with a congratulatory speech.
The children and youth of Odesa took part in the festive concert, because they are the future and we must protect them in wartime.
"During our meeting of peacekeepers, friends and like-minded people on the occasion of the anniversary of the Peace Council, we summed up the results and clearly realized that during two years of insidious war, we and all our partners not only did not stop our activities, but also acquired new meanings, now we adequately respond to all challenges of changing times, we professionally help, quickly rescue and always support the residents of Southern Ukraine," said Tamila Afanasyeva.
