Vice-Prime Minister, Minister of Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories Iryna Vereshchuk called on the residents of the occupied Kherson region to leave the region by any means, in particular through the occupied Crimea.
"Please leave, because our army will definitely buy up these lands. Our will to do this is unwavering. And it will be very difficult to open the humanitarian corridor when there are children there. It was difficult in Mariupol, and it will be even more difficult in the Kherson region. Because the enemy learns, becomes even more cynical, uses human shields, especially children. We will know that there are children there, and we will be powerless, and we do not want that. Believe me, the de-occupation will be very fast. There will definitely be a counterattack." — noted on briefing Vereshchuk
At the same time, she urged to use the "fake" documents issued by the occupiers to leave the temporarily occupied Crimea and assured that the Ukrainian authorities would not punish them.
