People's deputy-majority from the "Trust" parliamentary group, Robert Horvat, was informed of the suspicion of taking over 320 hectares of land, reports Specialized anti-corruption prosecutor's office.
"On October 24, 2023, on the instructions of the head of the SAP, the prosecutor, with the participation of NABU detectives, informed the People's Deputy of Ukraine about the suspicion of taking over land plots with an area of more than 320 hectares, which caused losses to the state of more than UAH 123 million.
Also, on October 24-25, 2023, NABU detectives, in agreement with the SAP prosecutor, notified three more persons involved in this crime of suspicion, namely the former head of the Main Department of the State Geocadastre of one of the regions, the former director of a state-owned enterprise and the director of a private enterprise."
According to sources, it is about Robert Horvat, who was elected to the Verkhovna Rada in Transcarpathia in 2019.
According to the investigation, in 2016-2019, the people's deputy, having influence on officials of the State Geocadastre, developed a criminal scheme for acquiring land.
"Yes, the director of the state-owned enterprise refused the right to use plots with a total area of 323 hectares and applied to the State Geocadastre State Administration of the region. After the termination of the right to use these lands, in accordance with the criminal scheme, the head of the State Geocadastre State Administration of the region transferred these plots to predetermined natural persons, who subsequently sold them to a company controlled by the organizer of the scheme., says the message.
