The level of infection with the coronavirus in Ukraine exceeds the norm by more than 10 times, according to data from the Ministry of Health as of Tuesday, November 2.
According to the norm, the rate should not exceed 75 patients per 100 population, but now it is 776 per 100 population in the country and 541 in Kyiv.
The highest incidence rate in the Kherson region is 1 per 429 people. population, Khmelnytskyi – 100, Sumy – 1, Luhansk – 058, Zhytomyr – 1, Zaporizhia – 321 regions.
The level of hospitalizations in the country is 91,2 with a norm of 60 per 100 thousand population. The level of hospitalizations was exceeded in 21 regions and Kyiv.
At the same time, the occupancy level of beds with oxygen is 70,3% at a certain level of the norm of 65%. This indicator is also exceeded in 14 regions.
Kyiv and 15 oblasts are in the red zone of epidemic safety. Zakarpattia and Kirovohrad regions remain in the yellow zone. The rest are in the orange zone.
Almost 20 cases of coronavirus were detected in Ukraine over the past day, and 3188 people were hospitalized.
Meanwhile, Ekaterina Nozhevnikova, the founder and director of the Charity Foundation "Monster Corporation", says that the situation with the availability of places in the Odesa region is catastrophic.
"Ambulances" hardly reach the places. There are no places, it is impossible to hospitalize resuscitation people with saturation 50, 40, 10. People are at home, they remain without oxygen. It's very difficult in the city now," says Nozhevnikova.
According to her, new wards for the treatment of COVID-19 patients were opened in Odessa, the Railway Hospital and City Hospital No. 1 were opened, and additional COVID beds were opened, but there are still not enough of them.
"It an absolute deadlock, which I have been talking about for a long time. We cannot open additional beds, we must understand that in all departments that are open now, we are pulling doctors and patients with other diseases are suffering. We are already fixing it. Problems with heart attacks and strokes due to the COVID-XNUMX department, because there are not enough doctors," says the director of the Monster Corporation Charitable Foundation.
