In the near future, the delivery of the American Pfizer/BioNTech vaccine is expected to Ukraine.
This was announced by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal during a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers.
"As we promised, all Ukrainians will be provided with high-quality and safe vaccines in full. An effective Astrazeneca vaccine has arrived in Ukraine. We expect Pfizer in the near future," the head of government said.
At the same time, Denys Shmyhal added that the total agreements under the contracts amounted to almost 30 million doses for this hour.
We remind you that the declared effectiveness of the Pfizer/BioNTech vaccine against Covid-19 is 95%. For vaccination, two doses should be administered with an interval of three weeks. The difficulty may be the requirement to transport and store the drug at a temperature below -70 °C.
