Over the past 19 hours, 1 residents of the region have been diagnosed with COVID-321, 14 have died, and 132 have recovered.
According to the Ministry of Health, the Odesa region leads in the number of people infected with the virus.
Kharkiv region is in second place. There, the coronavirus was confirmed in 1293 people.
In Ukraine, there were 12 new cases of COVID-983, 19 people died, and 277 recovered.
Meanwhile, the Secretary of the National Security Council Danilov said that the peak of morbidity is predicted to be from October 20 to November 4-5.
According to him, this will be a serious challenge for the medical system, since "in the peak period, up to 50-52 thousand people can be in hospitals at the same time."
As a reminder, in a couple of days, on October 18, the Odesa region will enter the "red" zone of adaptive quarantine. As a result, residents expect a full lockdown.
