State "Privatbank" introduces new restrictions on money transfers. Now you can send or receive no more than 100 transfers per month to a bank card. This was reported by the press service of Privatbank.
The measures are introduced in the framework of the fight against money laundering and in connection with the requirements of financial monitoring.
Since this month, the bank has been making adjustments to the rules for making P2P transfers according to the limits for card-to-Visa/Mastercard transfers through all channels.
Thus, the following limits per calendar month are established both for transfers within Ukraine and abroad:
- for the sender – 100 transfers in Ukraine and 25 international;
- for the recipient - 100 transfers in Ukraine and 30 international.
But if the user collects money on the bank's card for charity or volunteering, he should contact the bank's support service and they will increase the limit.
In turn, for those who received money on the card for the sale of goods via the Internet, the bank reminded that according to the normative legal act of the NBU, it is impossible to use a personal card for business activities.
In order to send and receive transfers without limits, Privatbank advises to open an account of a sole trader or a person engaged in professional independent activity in accordance with current legislation.
The press service of Privatbank claims that more than 24 million customers make transfers from card to card in Privat7 every month. At the same time, 99,7% of them use this service for personal purposes and send or receive no more than 100 transfers per month. This means that nothing will change for the majority.
