Odesa Oblast ranks 2nd in the country in terms of morbidity. Only last week, 312 new cases of infection were recorded. The most common strain of the virus in the region is the more contagious Omicron. This was announced by Vitaliy Goncharov, the chief health doctor of the Odesa region.
So far, 145 people have been hospitalized, the total workload of hospitals is only 4%. There are 30 oxygen stations in the region, 8 of which have been launched since February 24.
