The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine supported the initiative of the Ministry of Health to simplify the procurement procedure for oxygen supply systems and flu vaccines. The relevant resolution was adopted on September 9 at a government meeting.
In particular, the government has expanded the list of goods, works and services to combat COVID-19, which are subject to a simplified procurement procedure and are exempt from value added tax.
"Amendments to Government Resolutions No. 224 and No. 225 on the simplified procurement procedure and exemption from VAT of goods, works and services used in the fight against the coronavirus disease are envisaged. This issue concerns oxygen supply systems, provision of influenza vaccines and vaccination of persons at risk of contracting the disease of COVID-19," said the head of the Ministry of Health, Maksym Stepanov.
It will be recalled that earlier the Ministry of Health accelerated the allocation of funds for the purchase of the drug "Remdesivir", which is prescribed for the treatment of patients with coronavirus.
