Hybrids and electric cars will be produced under the new Qoshcar brand. Cars from Kazakhstan are planned to be exported to Europe, America and Asia.
Official photos of the first Kazakh car have been published. Its development was started by the startup Qoshcar Automotive. About this reported on his official website.
Qoshcar Automotive was founded in April 2022 by Kazakh businessman Ilyas Zholaman, who previously sold BMW cars. Translated from Kazakh, Qoshcar means "strong ram". The founder of the brand explained that the strength, stubbornness and endurance of the animal became an inspiration for the creators of the car.
The first-born Qoshqar GT Vision 1 will be developed by former Renault designer Oleksiy Ivashkevich and stylist Vasyl Kurkov, who previously worked for the Chinese company Nio. They created a streamlined touring coupe with original asymmetric doors that lift up.
The Kazakh car will be offered in electric and plug-in hybrid versions. The equipment will include an air cleaning system in the cabin. The three-person interior will be made in the style of a Kazakh yurt.
The release of Qoshqar GT Vision 1 is planned to be established in 2-3 years - for this, it is necessary to attract 2 million dollars of investment. The car will cost about 100 dollars, and they are going to sell it in 000 countries in Europe, America and Asia.
Later, the lineup will be supplemented by a cabriolet and an off-road station wagon. In the future, production volumes are planned to increase to 4000 machines per year.
