Deputies of the Odessa City Council at the last session decided to urgently develop a regulation on the parking fee. Why this document is needed, the deputy mayor and head of the transport department Sergey Tetyukhin told the ElitExpert agency.
"The new provision will make it possible to "equalize" all parking lots and parking lots, as well as increase the amount they pay to the city budget. The parking fee is a local tax paid by entrepreneurs managing parking lots. We will review it. Now we have a list where individual tax rates are set for a number of parking lots. But we believe that the rate should be unified for all. If you are a beneficiary, you will go to TsNAP and there you will receive a monetary compensation for parking." Tetyukhin said.
The parking fee, the official added, will increase, but not by 2-3 times. On the other hand, there will no longer be a situation where parking lots pay less to the budget than in small Kherson or Chernivtsi.
