In Odessa, this year's City Day festivities will begin on August 27. This was reported in the information department of the Odessa City Council.
So, on August 27 at 16:00 p.m., the premiere of the feature film "Smile of a Lioness" will be held at the film studio to mark the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Odessa Zoo.
On the same day at 19:00 on Duma Square, the VII International Music Festival Black Sea Music Fest will start.
On August 28, at 18:00, the traditional festival "Red City" is scheduled. Its participants will march from the Duke monument to the Summer Theater, where a concert and entertainment program will be presented.
On the night of August 29, the "Southern Dawn" marathon will be held for the first time on the Health Route.
On August 30 and September 1, the festival of clowns and mimes "Komediad" is planned with bright street shows Open air performance, a parade of clowns, a clown show and a marathon.
Directly on City Day, September 2, in addition to official events, there will be festive concert programs, exhibitions, fairs, flash mobs and, of course, a gala concert and fireworks on the Potemkin Stairs.
