On June 19, a container train from the Chinese city of Guangzhou arrived in Odessa at the Chernomorskaya station, which delivered 50 containers of bulk cargo. This was reported in "Ukrzaliznytsia".
Containers from China are being delivered along this route for the first time.
"Transport communication between the East and the West has always been and is an important system of economic activity in all countries. Ukrzaliznytsia actively participates in the development of such communication and is developing new routes for the delivery of cargo on the China-Europe route, because the transit opportunities of our country have a strong potential for growth," Ukrzaliznytsia noted.
We remind you that direct container trains from China to Ukraine began to run in June 2020. Since the beginning of the year, 13 such trains have already arrived from China, 67 Chinese trains transited through Ukraine.
