Ukraine took the 5th place out of 154 countries in the rating of the global index of the use of cryptoassets in 2023, according to the analytical publication Chainalysis.
It is noted that the purpose of the index is simple: to determine which countries are leading the world in the adoption of cryptocurrencies.
"We want to highlight the countries where ordinary people use cryptocurrency the most. To do this, we developed the Global Crypto Adoption Index to identify the countries where the majority of people invest the largest share of their wealth in cryptocurrency," the message reads.
Ukraine took 5th place in terms of adoption of crypto assets in 2023. She bypassed such countries as Japan, Canada and Morocco. The first five leaders look like this:
- India
- Nіgerіya
- Vietnam
- USA
- Ukraine.
Ukraine also took 3rd place in terms of the quality of centralized service. The researchers note that the perception of cryptocurrency in the world is decreasing, its peak fell on the II quarter of 2021.
