Since today, December 9, the list of professions for which vaccination is mandatory in Ukraine has expanded. According to the order of the Ministry of Health, from December 9, the following employees will not be allowed to work:
- enterprises, institutions and organizations related to the sphere of management of central bodies of executive power;
- an institution providing social services, an institution for social protection of children, a rehabilitation institution;
- enterprises, institutions and organizations included in the List of state-owned objects of strategic importance for the economy and security of the state.
Thus, the list includes, for example, janitors, train conductors, and postmen. Strategically important are the majority of state-owned enterprises, including regional energy, plants, energy companies, the agro-industrial sector, railways, communications companies (for example, Ukrposhta) and many others. Full list such objects were approved by Cabinet of Ministers Resolution No. 83 of March 4, 2015.
In addition, even before the mandatory vaccination, employees:
- central bodies of executive power and their territorial bodies;
- local state administrations and their structural subdivisions;
- institution of higher, post-graduate, professional, vocational-technical, general secondary, including special, pre-school, out-of-school education, institution of specialized education and scientific institution regardless of the type and form of ownership.
Only those who have medical contraindications are exempt from mandatory vaccination.
Unvaccinated (or those who do not submit a new PCR test every three days) employees of the above institutions will be suspended from work without salary until they receive at least one dose of the vaccine.
The heads of enterprises must monitor compliance with these requirements, otherwise they face a fine of 34 hryvnias.
