Today, the Supreme Anti-Corruption Court (SCAC) postponed the hearing on the election of a measure of restraint to the people's deputy Sergey Kuzminykh. The judge was unable to start consideration of the petition, since the People's Deputy provided the ID card of the People's Deputy instead of a passport. Because of this, it is legally impossible to establish the identity of the Kuzminys.
"I'm seeing the defendant for the first time and I can't know whether it's Kuzmynykh or not," the judge said.
Kuzmynykh believes that this was a "pretext" and connects this case with his struggle with "local tsarkas" and with various machinations in the Zhytomyr region.
"I will definitely prove my innocence," said the parliamentarian after the short court session.
The judge announced a break until tomorrow. The prosecutor of the SAP demands the Kuzmins' arrest for 2 months with the possibility of release on bail. The deputy is charged with abuse of influence, which is not a serious crime, so the maximum bail under this article is UAH 49.

It should be noted that today NABU and SAP detained People's Deputy from "Servant of the People" Sergey Kuzminykh on suspicion of receiving 558 thousand hryvnias of illegal benefits. The People's Deputy came to NABU together with his lawyer.
