Kyiv archaeologists unearthed mounds of the Bronze Age

The age of unique finds is more than four thousand years.

Near Kiev, archaeologists unearthed mounds of the Bronze Age. Scientists studied sections of the future new district road around the capital. During this time, they discovered 11 new finds at once - the remains of ancient settlements and barrows. About this сообщает Scientific Research Center "Rescue Archaeological Service" on Facebook.

"This area is distinguished by a large density of attractions. The barrows are especially interesting for us: we encountered three separate mounds and one barrow group. We tentatively date them to the Bronze Age, that is, their age is more than four thousand years old," said Deputy Director of the Rescue Archaeological Service Taras Mylyan.

The age of unique finds is more than four thousand years. Earlier, 26 archaeological sites were discovered during the survey of the second section of the large district, and now 11 more have been added to them.

"During the survey of the second section of the VKAD, we came across 26 monuments. Some of them were known earlier. But at 11 o'clock there was still no information," Oleg Osaulchuk, director of the Rescue Archaeological Service, noted.

It is also noted that the oldest finds are more than 10 thousand years old.
