Three members of a criminal group who were involved in the cultivation and wholesale sale of drugs were detained in the Shiryaevsky District of the Odesa Region. This was reported by the SBU press service.
A married couple from Odessa and their 42-year-old friend were detained. During the search, 10 kg of finished marijuana and 1000 hemp bushes were seized from them.
They sold the finished "goods" through personal connections in the region.
The male suspects are already in custody. The woman was released on personal recognizance, as she has a small child.
Detainees face 9 to 12 years in prison with confiscation of property.
