The head of the "Noble Cause" Charitable Foundation Serhii Shutov and his team have been providing comprehensive humanitarian aid to the defenders of our country and forced migrants, tens of thousands of whom have moved to the Odesa region, for almost 10 months in a row.
In particular, for two months, the volunteers of the foundation, together with partners from NovaUkraine, have been continuing the very large initiative "Firewood for displaced persons".
Five trucks full of firewood (45 cubic meters each!) have already been sent to the villages and towns of the Odesa region, and hundreds of displaced families have received the much-needed help in the winter cold.
Each family in need received one and a half cubic meters of hardwood firewood - this is oak, alder, and ash, which means that heat in people's homes will be provided for the next one and a half to two months.
"Our victory is won by the strength of arms and the strength of the spirit of our people. And also - by the strength of our unity and our ability to support each other, - stressed Serhiy Shutov. — Therefore, I ask everyone who cares about the fate of our country to join and help our people. Believe me, even 10, 15, 20 hryvnias are very important! A kind donation can save lives and bring our victory closer!".
In the plans of the Foundation are several more trucks with firewood, as well as the organization of a place for heating citizens in the church of the village of Kulevcha.
In addition, benefactors not only take care of heating the houses of the displaced people, but also, as before, continue to distribute large food packages to the needy.
This time, more than a ton of humanitarian aid was distributed among displaced persons, disabled people and single pensioners, including large food kits with everything necessary weighing 18 kg - for one family each.
"Our team is very grateful to people for the kind words and feedback received.
This is why we work! All the more so because the stories of the people we hear when we bring aid cannot help but move us," said Serhiy Shutov, head of the "Noble Cause" foundation.
But the special and, perhaps, the most important direction of the fund's work is all kinds of assistance to our military, which defends the state.
The volunteers have been supporting the fighters of the evacuation 28th company for the tenth month, which they have been taking care of since the first days of the full-scale war.
Fighters of this company are regularly on duty at the front line, evacuating wounded and damaged equipment - often under heavy fire from the enemy.
In recent months, volunteers have visited the front-line zone several times. The defenders were given warm clothes - jackets, trousers, army boots, as well as several tons of necessary humanitarian clothing. By the way, the residents of newly liberated villages of Kherson region and Mykolaiv region also receive help in the form of food packages.
Soldiers constantly receive food, plate carriers, medicines, hygiene products and many other things from volunteers.
Meanwhile, the boys also need compressors, batteries for drones, accumulators, sleeping bags. Therefore, everyone who cares about the fate of our country is asked to join and help our defenders.
