ElitExpert continues the series of publications about humanitarian and volunteer organizations of Odesa region. Today we are talking about the Charitable Organization "Platinum Dobro Ukraine", and our interlocutor is the head of the fund Anzhelika Romanchikova.
- Already four days after the start of the invasion, on February 28, with the first wave of refugees, when every minute was worth its weight in gold, our family started its activities to help all those in need. And since the beginning of March, a volunteer center was opened on the territory of the Platinum avto car showroom.
In my opinion, Victory is possible only with full mobilization of all reserves, which is why we opened our front - the front of the struggle for peace.
The main goal of our team's work is to provide emergency and comprehensive assistance on the day of the application. Without red tape, only on the basis of a written application. We collect food, clothes, shoes, diapers for the little ones, formula and much more. Since July, assistance has been provided to immigrants with children under 14, pregnant women, families with many children, and families with disabled children, regardless of their place of residence.
To assess the scale of our fund's work, only two numbers are enough: on July 1, we distributed more than 288 tons of humanitarian aid to 20 thousand people! Perhaps, this is the main criterion for understanding the transparency and scope of assistance.

The hardest thing for a volunteer is to take the first step. After all, most of those who came to help in the center are immigrants who learned firsthand what the infamous "Russian world" is like. However, in unity and mutual support, the strength is born to hold on, move on and win!
As they say, the world is not without good people, and we saw it personally. There are moments when two hands cannot cope, then the hands of friends come to the rescue, and this is so important and invaluable that you want to share a piece of your heart.
