The state will pay up to 100 hryvnias per month to our servicemen, and 15 million hryvnias to the families of the dead. This was reported by Defense Minister Aleksey Reznikov.
"I want to repeat the president's words: this is not done so that we can be told ``thank you.'' This is done so that our defenders know that the country is grateful to them. The state should pay decently for this important work," stressed Aleksey Reznikov.
During martial law, the state will pay an additional 30 UAH per month to servicemen of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, the SBU, the Foreign Intelligence Service, the Intelligence Service of the Ministry of Defense, the National Guard, the Border Service, the State Security Department, the Special Communications Service, the Special Transport Service, the State Security Service, and the police.
Military personnel who take direct part in hostilities or ensure national security will be paid up to UAH 100 per month, in proportion to the time spent on the front line.
The families of servicemen who died in this war will be paid one-time aid in the amount of 15 million hryvnias, which will be distributed equally to all recipients.
