Russia's suspension of the "grain agreement" will reduce Ukrainian grain exports from key Black Sea ports and exacerbate hunger.
"It's completely outrageous, it will lead to more hunger. There is no reason for them to act this way," the US president said.
"They're always looking for some justification to say they're doing something outrageous because the West forced them to do it," Biden added. "There is no merit in what they are doing. The UN negotiated this deal, and that should be the end of it."
The head of the press service of the National Security Council of the White House, Adrienne Watson, considers the Russian Federation's decision to suspend participation in the grain agreement "a preposition for using food as a weapon."
Despite this, Ukraine is not going to stop the work of the "grain corridor".
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky stated that a handful of people in the Kremlin should not decide whether grain corridors for the export of agricultural products will continue to operate.
Recall that the Russian side announced that it was withdrawing from the grain agreement after an alleged Ukrainian attack on the Black Sea Fleet in Sevastopol.
