Aliyev said that his country does not want the continuation of the war in Nagorno-Karabakh and issued an ultimatum to the Prime Minister of Armenia

The President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, said that his country does not want the continuation of the war in Nagorno-Karabakh and issued an ultimatum to the Prime Minister of Armenia, Nikolay Pashinyan.

"If Pashinyan personally, not the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, but himself personally declares that Armenia will withdraw its troops from Aghdam, Kelbajar, Lachin - from the three remaining districts that they must liberate, and give us a schedule, we will immediately stop. We do not want to continue this war. We want to stop... People who know me know that I am a man of words. I do what I say. If Pashinyan says this today, I give you my word that we will stop immediately. But he does not do this," Aliyev said.

At the same time, the head of Azerbaijan specified that his country would turn to Turkey for military assistance in case of aggression against it.
