In Austria, the police are conducting searches at 60 addresses in the country's four federal states

In Austria, the police are conducting searches at 60 addresses in the country's four federal states where people suspected of having ties to radical Islamists may be or live.

As reported by the regional prosecutor's office of Styria, "investigators are working on 70 suspects and several organizations that allegedly support the Muslim Brotherhood and Hamas terrorist organizations," reports Interfax.

The prosecutor's office also notes that "this operation is not connected with the terrorist attack in Vienna on November 2."

Let us remind you that then the shooting in the Austrian capital began on the evening of November 2: the first shots rang out around 21:00 Kyiv time at the synagogue in the center of the city. It was noted that almost simultaneously with this, several more people opened fire in other places. Later it became known that the security forces managed to shoot one of the attackers.

Four people became victims of the terrorist attack. According to the media, the eliminated attacker is a 20-year-old native of Vienna, Kurtyn S.
