The head of the "DNR" Denys Pushylin appealed to the President of the Russian Federation with a request to recognize the independence of the so-called "republic".
"On behalf of the people of the DPR, we ask you to recognize the republic as an independent democratic legal social state," Pushylin said.
At the same time, he asked the President of the Russian Federation to consider the possibility of concluding a cooperation agreement, including in the defense sphere.
The head of the "LPR" Leonid Pasechnyk made a similar request.
