On the day of the prosecutor's office, December 1, a grandiose large-scale investigation, which has no analogues in the country, was completed in Ukraine - The Second National Rating of Influence "Elite of Ukraine". Its result was 24 ratings of influential persons from each region of the country, and a national hundred of key figures of the state.
This project, established by the International Expert Club and rating agency "ElitExpert", was entered into the National Register of Records of Ukraine in September 2020 as the largest rating in the entire history of the independence of our state.
For several months, an expert group of professionals in the fields of political science, sociology, economics, jurisprudence and media thoroughly studied the regional and national elite of Ukraine. The result was 25 ratings of the most influential Ukrainians in all parts of the country.
The head of the Organizing Committee of the rating and the chairman of the board of the International Expert Club, Elena Ovchinnikova, notes that the criteria of the influence of the candidates, which were guided by the experts this year, were as follows: finances, connections, activity and breadth of spheres of influence.
However, some people can influence the Ukrainian society without positions and connections, and they are also represented in the rating: these are figures of culture, sports, the media market, scientists, spiritual leaders.
This year, there were fewer people in creative professions in the rating, but more security forces, top officials and representatives of the judiciary: those who really control the main resources of power and property, making key decisions in the country.
