The Ukrainian government does not plan to reintroduce strict quarantine even in the event of the second wave of the coronavirus. The Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal said this during an online meeting with business representatives, writes the press service of the European Business Association.
According to the Prime Minister, now the government is working on the systemic restoration of economic activity — it is developing a long-term strategy for the development of Ukraine until 2030, and it is also working on the implementation of the Economic Stimulation Program and the Government Action Plan, which contain stimulating measures for various sectors of the economy
— The Prime Minister expressed his support for the decision to raise the minimum wage to 5 hryvnias and reported that the government has plans to further raise the minimum wage to 000 hryvnias and 6 hryvnias in 000. At the same time, the business considers such a step a disguised increase in taxation and hopes that unreasonable decisions will not have a place in the future, the EBA noted
Regarding the ban on the entry of foreign citizens, Shmyhal assured that certain categories of foreign citizens will still have the opportunity to come to Ukraine, namely IT specialists, technical specialists-setters of launch equipment, foreigners with a residence permit in Ukraine, recognized as members of international and humanitarian missions by crew members.
