The other day, an unusual tree was planted in Odessa - the Nivaky mountain pine. A pine tree, the like of which is not found in all of Ukraine, appeared in the area of the Health Route, on the territory of the Aston Hall complex, and immediately captured the attention of Odessa residents with its amazing appearance.
As the initiator of planting the tree, the director of the Aston Hall complex, Ruslan Plohoi, told the ElitExpert agency, this pine is already mature, it is more than 50 years old, and it was brought from Germany. Moreover, the tree is also striking in its size - its weight is almost 4 tons.
"Our pine can without exaggeration be called a work of garden art, because in order to achieve such forms, the tree had to be monitored for more than a dozen years in a special nursery. The tree was grown with great care by masters who have tremendous experience in this matter," he emphasized.
Note that in traditional Japanese gardens, trees are given a certain shape with the help of special pruning. Such formed trees are called nivacs, and they are formed from both deciduous and coniferous plants. The older the tree, the more it is revered. The main advantage of this method is the unusual type of trees, as well as the creation of a large amount of shade, which makes it very attractive for vacationers.
We will add that from now on, all Odessa residents and guests of the city walking along the Health Route will be able to admire the unique tree.
